Provide NHS general medical services to patients registered on the practice list, delivering core primary care services as defined by the local ICS and NHS England requirements. Deliver comprehensive clinical care to patients, including consultation sessions, telephone triage, handling correspondence, reviewing results, conducting medication reviews, clinical administration, safeguarding, adhering to infection control policies, completing medical reports, and attending surgery meetings.

Prescribe safe and effective medicines management which conforms to:
1. NICE guidance and DH directives
2. Good Prescribing Practice as defined by British National Formulary (BNF) guidance from Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain on safe and secure handling of medicine
3. Controlled Drugs legislation
4. Shared protocols agreed between the OCCG and other NHS providers
5. Locally specified Patient Group Directions
Willing to cover duty doctor sessions on a rotational basis. Requirement to take on patient list and be responsible for covering your own lab results and Docman during your scheduled admin allocation each week.
Maintain the highest personal and professional standards as outlined by the GMC, prioritising individual patient care. Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Clinical Lead to support the development, execution, and review of the surgery's action plan, focusing on list growth, patient satisfaction, QOF, enhanced services, KPI targets, resource management, and cost control. Be supportive of any complaints policy and procedure to ensure proper investigation and appropriate follow-up action in the event of a complaint being made about any aspect of the service provided or any personal provider of the service.
Work closely with other GPs and the clinical team to provide patient care and actively participate in team practice meetings. Record and report significant events and clinical governance issues to the Clinical Lead or Practice Manager.
