Position: Teaching Assistant Contract: Full-Time, Contact Start Date: September Start, with trail period before summer holidays Location: Tameside Pay Rate: £95.29 - £108 per day About Us: Axcis Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to work in mainstream Primary School located in Tameside area. This full-time (Monday to Friday), on-going contract position offers the opportunity to make a significant difference in a young person's life, providing support and guidance to help them succeed academically and personally. Key Responsibilities: • Provide one-on-one support to children in the classroom who have dyslexia and need that extra supporting during the lessons. • Helping the students to understand and complete assignments. • Support current behavioural management strategies to promote a positive learning environment: • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure the student's needs are met. Qualifications and Experience: • Previous experience working with children or young people with challenging behaviour. • A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field is desirable. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Patience, empathy, and resilience. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
