Job summary
Cadog at Glangwili General Hospital is a 14 bedded short stay frailty ward with a further 6 bedded frailty assessment unit within Unscheduled Care directorate that could offer you the exciting opportunity to develop and expand your existing knowledge, skills and join a supportive, friendly team.
There are various full and part time hours available. Hours include nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Band 2 Health Care Support Workers. You would be working alongside an established team in Cadog ward.
We are a friendly, supportive team delivering high standards of care and clinical excellence.
You will ensure that patients / clients receive safe, individualised and effective standards of care by following care plans and treatment interventions, as directed by the registered nurse.
You will communicate effectively at all times and in conjunction with other team members, contributing to and maintaining the ward philosophy.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
