Manager - Accounting Advisory
Managers at CFGI work closely with senior management of FTSE 100, mid-cap, and start-up companies. CFGI Managers lead project teams and interact with clients and their Big 4 auditors on all aspects of engagements, including report writing and developing and managing client relationships.

What you might expect:
1. Integration with client’s senior management to solve complex accounting issues and for preparation of proposed resolutions.
2. Review work prepared by consultants on operational due diligence for complex transactions (i.e. – acquisitions and divestitures, stock offerings, debt raises, IPO’s).
3. Review consultants’ deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with regulatory requirements.
4. Research and document projects related to new accounting standards, process improvement, and implementations.
5. Lead and mentor consultants, acting as a role model and providing creative solutions that enhance the consultant’s overall experience.
6. Participate in the firm’s recruiting efforts, client relationship building, and business development efforts.
Who you are:
1. An undergraduate degree – ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA and/or MBA combined with solid accounting experience will be considered in lieu of a degree in Accounting.
2. Five to seven years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting and/or finance.
3. Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with an ability to assimilate easily into teams.
4. Strong technical skills and a working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
5. Proactive in identifying client needs and effective in building a strong relationship with clients.
6. Highly organized and focused and demonstrates ability to set overall engagement expectations and direction.
7. Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities.
8. Entrepreneurial nature, self-motivated, ethical, and dependable.
9. High energy with commitment to quality client service, focusing on ensuring positive resolutions to conflicts.
