IMH Recruitment are recruiting for a Facilities Support Assistant on behalf of our client based in Barnsley.
Job Overview:
Working with the Facilities Manager to make sure that the building is in the best condition for employees and customers.
Responsibilities:
1. To act as a designated key holder and open/lock the site to maintain security by securing entrances and exits as appropriate and reporting potential security breaches.
2. Ensure the area is kept clean and tidy.
3. General maintenance and repairs.
4. Perform duties as delegated and implement local procedures to contribute to the overall statutory compliance programme; for example, water temperatures, purging outlets, fire call point testing etc.
5. Monitor and ensure works identified via risk assessments are carried out in an appropriate and timely manner. Ensuring if this is not the case that the current position is reported appropriately.
6. Audit premises and provide positive/negative feedback to line manager and other Facilities Management staff regarding standards and performance.
