Job summary We are seeking a dynamic, skilled, and motivated individual with resilience and vision to manage and lead our female acute working age inpatient ward within Sheffield Mental Health Services. Located at the Michael Carlisle Centre, Burbage Ward is a 16 bedded unit providing for the assessment and treatment of female service users experiencing a diverse range of mental health needs. Burbage Ward is a warm, welcoming, and inclusive environment, where we have a vision of support for one another, creating a safe, therapeutic, and purposeful environment together for everyone. Within an established leadership team, the successful candidate will be responsible for both the clinical and operational leadership of the ward, through working closely with the Ward Consultant, Senior Practitioner and Matron. As we move though these exciting times of change, the post holder will be pivotal in the future development of acute care and will help shape and lead the future pathway of our acute services. As well as our commitment to clinical supervision and development the successful candidate will have the opportunity to access career coaching through SHSC to raise awareness of skills, abilities and how to utilise these effectively within practice.
