Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (Dependent on Experience)

The Nottingham office has 2 people in the civils team who are a technician and engineer. The Nottingham office does a lot of education projects including residential ones and the work can be a very reactive fast-paced environment.
As the Civil Teams Leader/Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Producing schematic/concept designs and detailed design of drainage and highways using Civils 3D
2. Undertaking drainage and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) designs using Causeway Flow
3. Preparing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy reports for planning
4. Collaborating with other construction professionals in design development and project management as necessary
5. Mentoring and resourcing junior team members
6. Project leader and manager of project finances
Main requirements:
1. Someone with good Civils 3D or equivalent with drainage networks experience
2. Experience of sustainable drainage systems concept and detailed design - essential
3. Highways design - S278/S38 agreements - desirable
4. Experience of mentoring and resourcing junior team members with a proactive approach
5. Line management experience to support team members in their career development
6. Professionally qualified or demonstrably working towards professional qualification
7. Interest in working in a variety of sectors supporting NHS, Department for Education and private sector
8. Experience of liaising with authorities and design team members with problem-solving approach
