Youth Group Leader
Location: Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 6SA
Salary: £23,259.60 per annum pro rata + Benefits
Contract: Part time, Permanent - 21 hours per week

The Role:
Oaklea's Youth groups offer young people a safe place to explore their identity, experience decision-making, increase their confidence, develop inter-personal skills and think through the consequences of their actions. As a Youth Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading and co-ordinating a team of employees and volunteers to provide group support to children and young people across a number of different settings.
The post will require flexibility as times of working will vary and will include afternoons and weekend support and may be considered as a job share role.
Car driver is essential.
The Candidate:
We're looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and vibrant individual to lead our Children & Young People's team. The successful applicant will be integral to both the planning and delivery of our offer to children & young people in the community, we deliver a number of programmes including our HAF programme and our Targeted Short breaks offer both afterschool groups and holiday activities for children and young people with disabilities.
An Enhanced DBS will be required for each successful candidate (Paid for by Oaklea, T&Cs apply).
