My client is a dynamic, fast-growing company based in Hinckley, Leicestershire. They are a culture-driven, team-focused company with a diverse client base.
They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. As an AC Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems at various sites across the Midlands region. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused individual who can travel to different locations and work independently to deliver high-quality service to their clients.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine maintenance of air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial facilities.
* Carry out installation of split-type and VRV type systems as required.
* Perform inspections to identify and rectify any faults or issues.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards during maintenance activities.
* Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning systems promptly.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimise downtime.
* Replace faulty components and ensure systems are operating efficiently.
* Interact professionally with clients and end-users to understand their needs.
* Communicate effectively to explain technical issues and solutions.
* Maintain positive relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction.
* Willing to work within and lead a team when required.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following:
* F-Gas Cat 1 certification
* NVQ/City & Guilds Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Level 2/3
* Minimum of 4 years' experience working as an AC Engineer with site travel
* Experience with VRV installations and split-type installations; some chiller knowledge would be a bonus.
* Flexibility and willingness to assist with other mechanical and electrical trades within the business if required.
* Located in the Midlands region.

Licence/Certification:
* IPAF (preferred)
