About the job
The role will be based in Adult Services Finance Team, within Finance Services. The post includes support to financial assessments for charging purposes, collection of income and debt recovery; word processing and data inputting, contract administration and payments, plus the necessary record keeping to monitor income and expenditure, taking telephone calls and contacting Service Users/Customers to resolve queries and enquiries.
The work involves a wide, varied and often changing range of tasks and you would need to be willing to work flexibly as part of a team, able to work under pressure in a busy environment, and be committed to provide the best service possible to meet changing customer needs.
What We Are Looking For From You
You will therefore need to demonstrate excellent customer care skills, clear verbal and written communication skills, proven keyboard skills, the ability to produce accurate work and have proven organisational skills.
The ability to speak other languages, in particular Welsh, and Community Languages would be an advantage.
