Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a Part Time Registered Dietitian (Senior Grade) at the Nenagh Rehabilitation Unit, Tyone Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct dietetic assessments and develop care plans for nursing home residents referred to the Dietitian.
2. Triage all referrals and ensure patients/residents are reviewed within a clinically appropriate timeline.
3. Provide nutritional support and advice to health care professionals (HCPs) and their patients.
4. Support Nenagh Rehabilitation Unit, Beaumont Lodge, and Bartra Nursing homes in delivering the best nutritional care to residents (e.g., conduct online or onsite training with staff in nursing homes).
5. Liaise with acute hospital dieticians to manage relationships with key stakeholders and HCPs.
6. Develop support materials and resources for HCPs.
7. Deliver projects as a member of the Bartra Health Care and HCP teams to drive innovative clinical solutions for patients/residents.
8. Undertake continuous professional development as a member of Bartra Health Care.
9. Provide project KPIs and reports to the Director of Clinical Services or Deputy.
10. Provide own clinical supervision with support from the Bartra Healthcare Team.
Qualifications:
1. A recognised qualification in Dietetics with an active CORU Registration.
2. Full Driving Licence (optional).
