We’re seeking a General Manager to lead the £15M turnover parts division of a well-established construction equipment manufacturer. This role will oversee a team of 15 professionals, driving growth through a distribution network and direct B2B sales.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Strategic Leadership – Develop and execute a commercial strategy to drive sales and profitability in the parts division.
✅ Sales & Business Growth – Expand revenue streams through distributor partnerships and direct B2B channels.
✅ Operational Excellence – Optimize supply chain, inventory management, and customer service for efficient parts availability.
✅ P&L Ownership – Manage budgets, pricing, and margins to enhance profitability and long-term sustainability.
✅ Team Leadership – Mentor and develop a high-performing team, ensuring strong collaboration across sales, operations, and customer support.
✅ Customer & Market Insight – Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners to stay ahead of market trends.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
🔹 Proven leadership experience in a parts, aftermarket, or distribution environment within construction, industrial, or heavy equipment sectors.
🔹 Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and managing P&L.
🔹 Experience managing distributor relationships and direct B2B sales channels.
🔹 Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain, and logistics in a high-volume parts business.
🔹 A hands-on leader with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
