About the role:
We are seeking to recruit invigilators at our Blackbird Leys campus to ensure our students receive the best possible exam experience. This is a vital role, essential for the smooth delivery of exams and a positive experience for our learners completing their courses!
We would gladly welcome applications from candidates who feel they have the skills to perform this role. No experience is necessary, and all training will be provided.
We run exams and assessments throughout the year, particularly during January, May and June. You will play a crucial part in ensuring a smooth and secure exam environment for our students at these critical times in their educational journey. Responsibilities include supervising students, ensuring exam regulations are followed, and maintaining a calm atmosphere.
This is a flexible position with full training and the opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team. Interested? Apply now!
What do you need to be a successful Exams Invigilator at Activate Learning?
The successful applicants will be calm, highly organised and able to demonstrate an empathy for students. You will understand and familiarise themselves with Awarding Organisation guidelines and possess the skills to support and monitor groups of learners.
Some of our students require additional access arrangements during exams and our invigilation team will ensure that these students receive the full support that they are entitled to during the exams and are not disadvantaged so that they can achieve their full potential.
Some of our exams require the use of IT. As a result, we are seeking to ensure as many of our invigilators as possible are confident with the use of IT. If you wish to administer IT based exams as well as paper ones then we will provide training on the role when you are appointed.
