This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Coordinator with Turning Point Scotland where no two days are the same!
Be responsible for both directly undertaking initial and on-going assessments of people we support and of overseeing team members to do so.
Provide informal and formal support, feedback, induction, engagement period reviews, appraisal and supervision to staff.
Devise, review and update support plans, record events and observations and keep appropriate records as required in the service both directly and managing staff to do so.
Provide leadership to staff to support people in accordance with their support plan, the principals of citizenship and to maintain records correctly.
Assist the service manager to prepare information and the service for inspections/ audits or similar and to contribute to these processes.
You will have a genuine commitment to use your skills and experience to support people to live their best lives. You will be supported by an incredibly approachable management team, allowing you to expand on your existing knowledge whilst developing new skills. You will have flexibility to work on a rota., At our services we work in partnership with people to enable them to live as independently as possible which includes maintaining their own homes, connecting with their local community and building positive relationships. The service supports people who have complex health needs including learning disability, mental health, autism and acquired brain injury.
