Job Title
An Avionic Technician is required by a leading MRO company based in Birmingham.
The successful candidate will join a team that deals with line and base maintenance, interior modifications, and fuel systems repair and maintenance for commercial and military aircraft.
This is a permanent position working a 5/5/4 shift pattern and offering competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to carry out maintenance tasks to correct standard and ensure accurate completion of company & Third-Party paperwork.
1. Full removal and strip of equipment
2. Installation of complex wiring harnesses and modifications to existing wiring, within Avionic shelves and panels
3. All aspects of electrical and avionics work including:
o Wiring terminations and testing
o Removal and installation of various shelves, panels and equipment
o Loom Manufacture and testing
o Systems testing
Requirements
* Completed an engineering apprenticeship- ideally in Aeronautical engineering or military equivalent
* Minimum of 8 years aircraft experience desired
* Previous aircraft production experience
* Previous modification experience
* Military aircraft experience essential
* Excellent hand skills

* Knowledge of MS Office applications
* Eligible to work and live in the UK
