The team think strategically to support delivery and are trusted advisors to the Business and its Leadership Teams. Business Partners provide challenge and insight and need to demonstrate an un-questionable appetite to understand the Businesses they support. Using knowledge of the cost drivers, they clearly and concisely articulate the story behind monthly results to senior customers and support planning and forecasting activity, providing innovative ideas and analysis. The knowledge and experience to oversee one of the largest and most sophisticated areas within GCOO and manage multiple senior stakeholder representing cross-divisional and strategic Group activity. Strong business partnering capabilities to support a number of GCOO CIOs and Leadership team members and support the delivery of Finance Transformation, helping to support one of the most significant transformation journeys at Lloyds. What you'll be doing: Lead Finance Business Partnering team activities including but not limited to: Provide Partnering support to the GCOO Core Area leaders and their business areas; managing an investment. portfolio of £c0.9bn and a BAU cost base of £1.2bn, helping them successfully plan for the future. Contribute to the setting of direction and goals through key advice. Present Management Reports to senior stakeholders, including the Group COO and Central Finance Director. Ensuring that results and issues are well understood and explained in a way that is relevant. Lead a team that partners stakeholders to support headcount (FTE) reporting & forecasting and the provision of insightful and robust MI. Work with Divisional colleagues, prepare regular forecasts including quarterly forecast and 4 Year Operating Plans. Support and challenge the business so that the plans produced are robust, with well-understood risks and opportunities. Monitor, manage and influence business related metrics not captured on SAP including the business Organisational Design and it’s affordability in the short and medium term. Provide commercial and decision support on key projects and multimillion contractual commitments, acting as a trusted advisor. Become fully engaged on relevant Group Strategic projects. Ensure interlock on all investment/project benefits, payback and objectives & key results. Provide active engagement with the Centre of Excellence to ensure an excellent flow of communication and standards of inputs/outputs.
