Programme Manager
Company: Energy Transition Tech Start-Up
Location: London (Hybrid Working, 2 days/week in office)
Salary: circa £60,000 - £70,000
We are partnered with a tech start-up organisation in the Energy sector who are growing programme/project delivery team. The Programme Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of bespoke projects from start-up, through to execution and close-down, to the required standard of quality and within specified constraints of time and costs.
This role is a perfect opportunity for a consultant (circa 2-5 years exp.) looking to make a move into industry.
This role will suit if:
* You are an experienced Consultant or Project/Programme Manager in Tech
* You have experience in end-to-end project delivery in a tech-focused product environment
* You have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong customer facing skills and commercial acumen
* You are comfortable working with unknowns and environments which don’t have a huge amount of process
* You love to work iteratively and collaboratively with design, engineering and other areas of the business
* You drive communication within your team and with customers in a clear and concise way
* You resolve blockers, risks and issues are proactively raised and resolved
What the job involves:
* Leading end-to-end project/programmes with customers (from start-up organisations to large enterprise)
* Working with the wider team to deliver projects creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
* Interacting with customers, understanding their needs and translating them into solutions
* Understanding what might go wrong, what is going wrong and coming up with solutions
* Working collaboratively with internal teams across product, engineering and software to meet customer needs
