Our Role
The role is a Data Administrator on our Scottish Power (SPEN) Framework and primarily include the general processing of Data information for the contract. The candidate will be required to process information received from site to create the required as-built information / Data Returns for submission to the client. Other duties will also include creation of Work Packs, pre works, and uploading completed work packs when returned from site, and the creation of Safe Dig packs, which identify locations of buried services in our work areas. There will also be the requirement to assist in other tasks, such as providing back up to the Customer Service Line and monitoring Lone Workers when required.
Key Responsibilities
Have good communication, numeric and computer literacy skills, especially Excel / PDF editing.
Work packs Creation of the works maps & necessary information (including setting up risk assessments stage 1 form, TM & scaffold paperwork etc), photocopying polarity information & access maps for packs for outages.
Work packs back from site scan completed work packs & No Work Required (NWR) maps save to the relevant outage folder (LV defects & NWR)
Pole construction sheet - completed for direct labour and subcontractors.
Data returns Ensuring all the information is being put onto the maps, requesting missing photos as required, including span data collection sheet & the new span heights.
Safe digs all outages. Searching the relevant sites. Compiling & sending emails to Wales & West as necessary if gas warnings are notified on the digs.
Sending the DVO & MW combined list every Friday to SPEN.
Sending the Transformer change monthly sheet to SPEN every 2 weeks
Scaffold requests filling in scaffold forms, completing PO Log & sending emails for outages (& chasing up when necessary).
Experience and Qualifications Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDFs
Excellent organisational Skills
Good time management & the ability to prioritise tasks as required.
Use own initiative.
Attention to detail.
Demonstrate approachability and be seen as credible.
Able to quickly build strong working relationships with colleagues.
Ability to engage with the Key Stakeholders where required.
All necessary training will be provided.
