Job summary Applications are invited for an experienced Clinical or Counselling psychologist Psychologist to work in North Tyneside CAMHS. The team caters for children and young people aged 0-18 and their families, who are affected by a variety of mental health difficulties. We are looking for an enthusiastic motivated team player who is able to contribute to the delivery of psychologically informed assessment, formulation and intervention across CAMHS service. The candidate must have substantial knowledge of a range of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions as well as being able to deliver a range of therapeutic interventions at a specialist level. The candidate must also have experience of supervising and training other professionals. We are keen to invest in training opportunities for the successful candidate, in order to develop skills and experience to improve service delivery and patient experience. The post will be based at Albion Road Resource Centre, North Shields but the post holder may be required to work at other sites within the Trust. Main duties of the job The role will involve working across the CAMHS service and managing all aspects of the delivery of psychological assessment, formulation and intervention across a range of mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions. The postholder will represent the wider service and the Trust as part of their role as a senior clinician and will be expected to engage fully in decisions around service modelling and delivery. The successful post holder must be able to role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape the creation of a collective leadership culture within the Trust.
