Residential support worker

Job Title: Support Worker - Full Time

Full time (37 hours per week)

Salary:

£26,210.72 to £29,801.64 (inclusive of shift allowance)

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

* Provide individualised care and support to young residents.
* Serve as a role model and advocate for the young people.
* Work proactively within a professional care team.

Requirements:

* Empathy and a passion for helping young people.
* Ability to build positive relationships.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
* Willingness to work alternate weekends and bank holidays.
* Ability to participate in physical activities.
* Must be over the age of 21.
* Prior knowledge of child protection issues and understanding of the development needs of children and young people is desirable but not essential.

Shift Patterns:

* 7:30 - 16:30 and 13:00 - 22:00 with alternate weekends off.
* Willingness to do overnight stays (sleep-ins on a rota basis).
