We are looking for a dynamic and driven individual to fill the position of Partnership and Community Resilience Manager who will be fundamental in supporting the development and implementation of Sunderlandandrsquo;s approach to Community Resilience on behalf of the City Council and at a very local level.

The postholder will support the delivery of the Sunderland City Plan, its ambitions and themes, directly within communities and working across the system with multiple partners from all sectors.

You will lead on to working in partnership with key stakeholders in a designated area of the city, working with the relevant Area Committee and elected members to ensure the development and delivery of an Area Plan, enhancing community resilience activity and maximising investment into the area. In addition to supporting the delivery of city-wide programmes of community development and resilience activity and ensuring resident participation and engagement.

The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal, influencing and relationship management skills. With a proven track record of implementing programmes in a range of settings and partnerships to improve outcomes and secure investment, both financial and in-kind.
