An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Therapist with 2 years' experience to join a reputable organisation delivering client-centred therapy to children, families, and educational institutions. This role can be full-time or part-time offering excellent benefits, and a salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 FTE.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will be providing specialist support to children and young people, addressing a range of developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Difficulties, and more, across community settings such as schools and homes.
You will be responsible for:
1. Evaluating the needs of children to create customised therapy plans.
2. Delivering therapeutic interventions to enhance physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities.
3. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, including educational staff, fellow therapists, and case managers.
4. Supporting families to improve their child's developmental progress.
5. Maintaining accurate and compliant records as per HCPC standards.
6. Travelling to various locations for assessments and therapy provision.
What we are looking for:
1. Previously worked as an Occupational Therapist, Occupational Health Therapist or in a similar role.
2. At least 2 years' experience in occupational therapy.
3. Experience working with children in a paediatric setting.
4. Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy.
5. HCPC registration.
6. Ideally have training in Sensory Integration and qualification in attachment and trauma.
7. Full driving licence and own car with business use insurance.
