Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Research Service delivery manager, initially for a 12 month, part time (0.6) contract, to support the development of our in-house research function.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and Improve Research Services: Oversee the current research service operations, ensuring they meet the needs of business stakeholders and deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Develop New Services and Practices: Collaborate with the business to identify opportunities for new services or improved working practices within the team, and lead their implementation.
* Ensure Quality and Integrity: Maintain and enhance the quality, accuracy, and reliability of research services, processes, and outputs.
* Subscription Management: Assist with managing subscriptions by monitoring usage, and optimizing value-added services.
* Conduct Research Projects: Undertake research tasks, if required, to support client projects, business development initiatives, and strategic goals.
We're looking for:
* Service Management Experience: Track record in managing and improving business services.
* Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Financial Knowledge: Basic understanding of corporate finance, financial services, or economics (preferred).
* Research Tools: Familiarity with research tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Factiva) and knowledge management techniques (desirable, not required).
* Professional Services Background: Experience in research within professional services firms (preferred, not essential).
