Learning Mentor - Manchester (Support Staff) Location : Manchester Salary : £85 - £105 per day (dependent on experience) Start Date : February 2025 Are you passionate about empowering young people to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential? A secondary school in Manchester is looking for an empathetic and motivated Learning Mentor to work closely with students who may need extra support. Key Responsibilities : Provide targeted academic and emotional support to students, particularly those at risk of underachieving. Develop and implement tailored learning strategies to help students meet their goals. Deliver focused 1:1 and small-group sessions on topics such as study skills, confidence building, and behavior management. Liaise with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support. What We’re Looking For : Experience in a mentoring or support role, ideally within an educational setting. A caring and patient demeanor with the ability to motivate and inspire young people.
