What your Day might look like: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational needs and budgetary requirements. Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery speed. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favourable pricing and payment terms. Maintain relationships with vendors and monitor supplier performance. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information. Analyse and manage procurement budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and value improvement. Develop product specifications after-market Analysation & stay updated with modern trends. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely acquisition of goods and services. Monitor market trends and conditions to identify potential cost savings and supply chain efficiencies. Lead and manage the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate procurement activities. Ensure staff adherence to established processes and procedures. Perform job specific tasks in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards, and company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures. Manage procedures and ISO management related to purchasing and quality control. Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work Forecast procurement needs and plan purchases accordingly. Work closely with other departments such as production, logistics, and finance to ensure alignment of procurement activities with company goals. About you: Proven experience as a Buying/Sourcing Manager or in a similar role within the industry. Extensive knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
