Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the consultancy and site teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of design tasks
2. Review and assess design plans and specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards
3. Provide technical advice and guidance to the project team on design-related issues
4. Monitor and report progress on design activities, highlighting any potential delays or issues
5. Coordinate and facilitate design meetings, ensuring key stakeholders are involved
6. Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including design briefs and reports
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and procedures
8. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and quality standards
Job Requirements
9. BSc/HND/HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
10. Significant experience in the Water sector, with a strong understanding of design
11. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels
12. Proven track record of coordinating design activities and ensuring buildability
13. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
14. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
15. Self-motivated and proactive, with a keen attention to detail
16. Proficiency in relevant design software and tools
