nexos are looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer to join our Aberdeen team on a permanent basis.
You'll taking accountability for executing instrument & control engineering activities while ensuring technical quality, budget, and schedule compliance.
In this role, you will provide instrument & control engineering input into tenders and proposals, assist in identifying and implementing improvements to working practices, and support workload allocation and supervision of discipline personnel. You will also oversee and manage vendor and contractor deliverables, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
A key part of the role is maintaining project plans, progress updates, and cost control for assigned scopes while ensuring that scope and schedule changes follow the project change control process. Compliance with industry standards, regulations, and procedures is essential, alongside supporting estimate and schedule preparation and approval via digital platforms such as Slingshot.
Collaboration is key, as you will maintain effective communication with project management and multi-discipline teams, review and check instrument & control work output, and ensure accurate document filing and approvals.
