Location: Bupa Place (Salford Quays)
Hybrid role – required to be at Bupa place weekly with flexibility to work from home.
Permanent role
Salary: £57,000 negotiable plus 15% bonus
Full Time – 37.5 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join our Health Service Team. This role will be the senior operational lead for our remote primary care services.
You will be accountable for the operational management and development of this service. The successful candidate will be a strong and engaging leader with a proven track record of embedding a culture of continuous improvement and promoting cross function collaboration, identifying efficiencies, sharing best practice and enhancing service delivery.
As an inspirational leader, you will instil accountability and develop capability across your teams, ensuring they are motivated and equipped to achieve their best.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
1. Strategic and Operational Delivery: Overall accountability for the business area’s commercial goals and targets. You will support Service Operation Managers and team managers to efficiently manage finances ensuring invoices and billing are processed timely and month-end processes are adhered to. Own operational delivery of business area including driving the fulfilment of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) as specified.
2. Continuous Improvement: Identify and drive the implementation of business area improvements using the ‘joined up’ Bupa approach, previous experience, and colleague expertise.
3. Governance, Risk and Compliance: Accountable for governance / regulatory requirements of business area - ensuring quality and compliance policies and standards are used consistently, communicating regulatory changes down the line effectively.
4. People Management: Guide, support, and coach business area managers in strategic management. Overseeing manager plans / direction.
Own the continued competence / compliance for immediate direct reports and ensure personal development and internal progression is championed.
What you’ll bring
* Proven experience in leading teams of various sizes and scales, across different locations and environments. Successfully managed an area with over 150 employees (essential).
* Strong operational experience demonstrating the ability to lead a business area.
* Proficient knowledge and experience in commercial healthcare markets.
* Proven track record of creating, leading, and developing high-performing teams/functions.
* Experience in a healthcare or equivalent regulatory environment (desirable).
