M&A Tax Manager Our client is expanding and looking to hire a M&A Tax Manager. This position comes with flexible working options. In this role, you will be at the forefront of advising clients on a wide variety of transactions. The team provides expert guidance on key areas such as mergers and acquisitions, sales, management buyouts (MBOs), and internal restructurings. You will face a diverse range of challenges, with significant opportunities to learn and develop, all while working in a collaborative and client-focused environment. Key responsibilities for the M&A Tax Manager: Delivering expert tax advice on a broad spectrum of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, business sales, restructuring, debt and equity raising, and reorganisations. Leading tax due diligence projects and ensuring the delivery of detailed, high-quality analyses. Cultivating strong, long-lasting relationships with clients and external advisors, providing excellent service, and identifying opportunities for further value creation. Staying informed on the latest changes in tax laws and ensuring clients and internal teams are updated on the implications of these changes. Working alongside other specialists within the firm, including teams from Corporate Finance, VAT, Innovation, Entrepreneurial Taxes, and Wealth, to provide an integrated and seamless client experience. Mentoring junior team members, providing training, feedback, and guidance to help them grow professionally. About You: An experienced tax professional, with a background at the Assistant Manager level or higher. You will have experience in corporate tax advisory or a similar role, with a strong preference for those with experience in private client tax. A natural leader, passionate about personal growth and the development of others. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence clients and colleagues at all levels. You will hold a professional qualification such as CA, CTA (or equivalent). Experience in managing or mentoring junior colleagues in an advisory setting is a plus.
