Hiring: Principal Engineer – Epitaxy Are you an expert in epitaxial growth for Indium Phosphide (InP) photonics? We are looking for a Principal Engineer to lead advancements in epitaxial technologies, playing a key role in the development of high-performance photonic components for next-generation telecommunications, data centers, and beyond. What You’ll Do: Develop and optimize InP epitaxial growth processes for photonics applications. Drive innovation in wafer growth techniques, ensuring superior material quality. Collaborate with photonics design teams to tailor epitaxial layers for peak performance. Oversee material characterization and establish rigorous quality control protocols. Lead R&D projects, mentoring junior engineers in epitaxial growth methodologies. Stay ahead of emerging industry technologies and advancements in photonics. What You Bring: Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 12 years of experience in epitaxial growth of compound semiconductors, especially InP. Expertise in Metal-Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD). Strong understanding of photonics, optoelectronic devices, and semiconductor manufacturing. Analytical mindset with statistical process control experience. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Hands-on experience with characterization tools (XRD, PL, SEM, SIMS, AFM).
