Senior Embedded Software Engineer Role
nGenium has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their team in Northamptonshire.
This is a full-time, on-site position that offers a collaborative and supportive work environment. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for working on multiple projects simultaneously, leveraging your expertise in microprocessors, IC interfacing protocols, and firmware writing to drive product development forward.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with:
* A minimum of 10 years' industry experience or a BEng Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or equivalent) with at least 7 years of experience
* Proven ability to develop products from concept through to production
* Proficiency in microcontroller programming (PIC, ARM, Atmel AVR...)
* Knowledge of communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART. Ethernet experience is advantageous
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for:
* Serving as the main point of contact for all technical aspects from design, development, and manufacture
* Hands-on involvement in product design, build, and testing
* Meeting deadlines and schedules while maintaining good version control
* Identifying resource needs and providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
nGenium offers a competitive salary range of £50,000-60,000K per annum, commensurate with experience.
