Summary of Position:
The Warehouse & Logistics Assistant will report to the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor, with prime responsibility for processing and delivery of Audio Visual stock within a project-based business. Flexibility with start times will be required for deliveries.
Responsibilities:
* Delivery of Goods to client premises predominately across East Anglia and London, and UK when required using company pool van, including off-loading as required by the Project Managers.
* Assist with processing of Goods In/Out, including quality and documentation checks, and updating Warehouse Management System.
* Assist with physical organisation of the warehouse including regular stock takes.
* Provide absence cover for the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor.
Personal Specification:
Qualifications & Training:
Essential:
* GCSE Math’s & English.
* UK Driving License (no more than 3 points).
Desirable:
* Advanced van driving.
Experience:
Essential:
* None required – full training will be provided.
Desirable:
* Experience using computers and computer applications such as MS Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Experience of Inventory management systems.
* Minimum 12 months warehouse/logistics experience.

* Must have own transport – be able to reliably attend Wymondham office.

Product Knowledge:

* General IT Knowledge – ability to use MS Outlook, input data and operate keyboard and mouse.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of Audio Visual products.

* Lifting, Standing, Walking, Sitting, Reading, Writing, Colour Vision.
* Good telephone manner.
* Good IT Skills – Use of PC for email and data entry.
* Manual Handling Items to 25Kg.
