Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Recruitment Specialist to join our team in Peterborough. The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, posting job advertisements, screening applications, conducting interviews, and managing the offer process. The Recruitment Specialist will also be involved in onboarding new employees and maintaining candidate databases. This is an on-site role based in Peterborough.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Recruitment Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in headhunting, client management, bulk hiring, and business generation, with a strong understanding of profit and loss (P&L) management in the recruitment process. You will be responsible for sourcing top-tier talent, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our recruitment function.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct end-to-end recruitment, including headhunting, screening, and resourcing candidates across various domains.
2. Manage bulk hiring drives for technical and non-technical roles within tight deadlines.
3. Partner with business stakeholders to understand hiring needs and deliver against talent requirements.
4. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring consistent communication, performance updates, and feedback.
5. Generate new business opportunities by identifying client needs and offering recruitment solutions.
6. Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans using platforms like LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and social media.
7. Manage and monitor profit and loss (P&L) for recruitment accounts, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
8. Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates and manage databases for future talent needs.
9. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires and handle recruitment-related documentation.
10. Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and legal regulations in recruitment.
Key Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. 4+ years of recruitment experience, preferably in a technology or telecom environment.
3. Proven experience in headhunting, client handling, and bulk hiring.
4. Strong knowledge of business generation, revenue models, and P&L management.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
7. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
8. Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Qualifications
1. Experience in sourcing and interviewing candidates
2. Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Understanding of labour legislation and employment laws
5. Excellent organisational and time management skills
6. Demonstrated ability to manage the end-to-end recruitment process
7. Experience in the technology or engineering sectors is a plus
