About the Role
As the Urban Greenspaces Business Support Manager, you’ll be the engine that keeps our Urban Greenspaces team running efficiently. Your mission? To take ownership of all back-office functions, ensuring our operational teams can focus fully on delivering first-class services to the community. From managing enquiries and complaints to supporting key events in our parks and open spaces, your role will be crucial in ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
You’ll lead a small but dedicated team to handle the administrative and customer-facing aspects of Urban Greenspaces, ensuring smooth operations across the board. By overseeing communication with residents, councillors, and other key stakeholders, you’ll free up time and energy for our front-line teams to focus on delivering great services where they’re needed most.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing top-tier administrative support to operational teams, allowing them to concentrate on maintaining our green spaces.
- Managing enquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and effective responses that keep our community informed and satisfied.
- Streamlining processes to reduce duplication and improve efficiency in how we support front-line services.
- Handling FOI requests and supporting financial processes, ensuring our teams stay on top of important tasks without distractions.
- Supporting the organisation of events in our parks and open spaces, ensuring everything runs smoothly and complies with safety standards.
