Description Health & Safety Co-ordinator B&Q Contract – WORKSOP An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Co-ordinator to join our established team at B&Q Worksop. This challenging and exciting role will appeal to an individual with experience, drive, determination and enthusiasm. Facilitate all site Health and Safety activities ensuring all statutory and company requirements are achieved and maintained in support of the business objectives. This is a hands-on role reporting to the Health & Safety Manager. The Role: Participate and support in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non conformances Follow up on all non-conformances and develop systems to resolve them Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Ensure appropriate risk assessments are conducted, and actions are completed Undertake legal and compliance audits against SHE Standards Administer and support preparation of personal injury claims Administer and support preparation for enforcement action Provide SHE support daily and for all new projects and change management activities Understand and share relevant technical requirements for SHE across site Support training and coaching across the facility to drive a safety-perfect culture Champion use of behavioural based safety programs and initiatives Support Employee Engagement and feedback of relevant site SHE information - update site SHE notice boards Actively work alongside site colleagues in implementing improvement plans Coordinate all SHE programs and processes across site Facilitate implementation of corrective actions and preventative actions where required Be an active member of the site safety committee Identify and implement SHE improvements across site Help administer and track all SHE data and statistics across site Key skills & experience (essential): Skills to prepare and deliver SHE related training sessions.
