Inter Array Cable Package Manager required for a major offshore wind developer based in England.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure HSSE performance through design and implementation to eliminate or reduce risks during construction, operation, and maintenance.
2. Review and implement FEED contracts, support main asset procurement, and detail design.
3. Define, develop, and successfully manage the interfaces with the rest of project packages.
4. Undertake tender document preparation, bid reviews and evaluations, contract negotiation, and complete contract execution, including claim management up to handover to the operation team of the inter-array cable related contracts.
5. Develop day-to-day interaction with the Contractor to ensure adherence to HSSE, quality, scope, budget, technical requirements, and time schedule.
6. Manage technical and commercial risks, issues, and impacts of changes to the project.
7. Report to the Senior Project Manager on progress, issues, and changes.
8. Coordinate a multidisciplinary team to deliver the works under your responsibilities.
Requirements
1. Master's in Engineering with 5-10 years' experience and knowledge in submarine cable system design and installation operations.
2. Good knowledge of current health, safety, and environmental legislation.
3. Significant and in-depth experience in Project Management of offshore submarine cables.
4. High level of competency in contract management, claims management, negotiation techniques, and dispute resolution methodologies.
5. Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude ensuring adequate interfaces, controls, and communication are established and maintained in all aspects of project management.
6. Ability to identify a problem or conflict, identify potential solutions, and evaluate the solutions leading to a recommendation for the optimum solution.
7. Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
