The Job An opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our Change function in either Edinburgh or Witham. Within the Change function you will have opportunities to manage a number of different types of initiatives within a large portfolio of approved regulatory and discretionary projects to meet identified business needs. As a Project Manager you will engage with and grow effective relationships with stakeholders across Aegon UK as you work on the effective delivery of projects. Initially you will be aligned to manage a project that is responsible for upgrades to our secure web platforms that will enable our advisor and employer customers to complete maintenance on their accounts. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our creative branding team to update our brand identity and deliver changes to our adviser and customer facing portals and platforms within AUK. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Effective delivery of projects using agile and waterfall methodologies. Communicating with our Initiative Owners and Subject Matter Experts to understand requirements. Working with technical teams, UX designers and others to support in the delivery of these requirements and ensuring effective communication and business readiness activity is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Liaising with value streams within Aegon to secure shared resources and manage dependencies. Successful project delivery to time, cost and quality standards through management of resources, budget and change governance. Effective Risk Management to identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues and escalating when necessary. We’d love to hear from you if you have: Experience in successfully managing and delivering complex projects using Agile methodologies Experience of managing project budgets and risk management A proven track record of experience delivering front end web development projects Effective negotiation and influencing skills to support delivery and effective prioritisation of work. Excellent communication skills and the ability to be concise, varying style dependent on the situation and audience. What’s in it for you?
