Role overview
We are looking for a passionate Diamond and Alloy Wheel Technician to accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of standard Alloy & Diamond Cut Wheels.
Key responsibilities
* Accurately undertake the preparation and repainting of standard Alloy & Diamond Cut Wheels.
* Use & maintain Vixen Lathe machinery in line with manufacturers' guidelines.
* Fulfil all tasks to the customer's complete satisfaction.
* Detect and diagnose any additional faults for further repair, e.g., distorted wheels not fit for repair.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, and industry guidelines.
* Carry out all repairs according to best practice procedures.
* Use all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately for all paint repairs.
* Coach and support apprentice technicians.
* Attend specialised training as required.
* Perform other duties in support of other team members as required.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
* Receive work from the workshop controller and carry out related checks, administration, and protection routines.
About You
As a Diamond and Alloy Wheel Technician, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
* Experience working in a similar role.
* Experience using an imagery turntable would be preferred.
* A keen interest in photography, marketing, and the automotive industry.
* Good attention to detail, which is key for this role.
* Good and clear communication skills.
