The Warehouse Operator team sits within the Logistics division at the GSK Ware Manufacturing site and is responsible for performing all tasks associated with the movement of materials into, within and onwards from the Ware Manufacturing site.
Reporting into a Warehouse Team Leader, you will work in a minimum of 2 functional areas within the warehouse. The functional areas include Inbound, Sampling, and Outbound. You will also support across other functional areas as required. Further to this, additional responsibilities include operating the warehouse mechanical handling equipment (e.g., the Highracker, Fork-lift trucks, etc.), performing equipment checks to ensure their safe operation, and ensuring the work area is audit-ready and compliant at all times with GSK policies and procedures. There is also a wide variety of other online and offline tasks, including maintaining training compliance and supporting investigations related to the successful day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Shift: Please note that this role is a shift role which currently operates on DAN-F 12hr (Days and Nights Full) shift pattern.
Please Note: The Warehouse is subject to Known-Consignor status and is subject to stringent external audits. It is therefore a requirement of pre-employment screening for the successful applicant to have employment references that date back 5 years.

This role would suit a self-motivated person who has experience of working in a cross-functional, global supply organisation. You will be resilient and calm under pressure, with strong people skills and a proven ability to influence people to achieve and to drive performance. You will have a strong continuous improvement mindset.

Basic Qualifications:
* Relevant manufacturing - warehouse experience.
* A good standard of numeracy and literacy (e.g., GCSE Mathematics & English or equivalent).
* Basic computer literacy.
* Forklift Truck Licence (highly desirable).
