Night Shift Role 7pm - 7am 4 On / Off AOG Operator Primary Responsibilities: Urgent Shipment Handling: Managing Aircraft on Ground (AOG) and other time-sensitive consignments to ensure swift and efficient delivery, minimizing delays for clients. Export Operations: Coordinating export shipments via air or road based on customer requests received through phone or email communication. Documentation Management: Preparing and organizing export documents, including house air waybills (HAWBs), master air waybills (MAWBs), customs clearance documents, and post-flight reports. Ensuring compliance with security protocols, shipment routing, airline coordination, transport requests, and reporting. Handling cross-trade movements with precision. Compliance with Instructions and Regulations: Ensuring air waybills are prepared accurately, in line with customer requirements, and rated in accordance with IATA and airline regulations. Guaranteeing customs documentation aligns with supplier instructions, including IPR/OPR requirements and export license entries. Communication and Coordination: Managing pre-alerts and post-flight follow-ups to keep stakeholders informed. Quotations: Assisting with quotation preparation for export shipments as required. Ideal Candidate Profile and Key Competencies: Previous experience working in an export department of a freight forwarding company, with a focus on AOG shipments or time-sensitive operations. Familiarity with aerospace logistics and shipping aircraft parts. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong time management and reliable attendance. Proficiency with computers and logistics software.
