To provide team leadership within the Digital Health Records department, providing an efficient service throughout the Trust in both paper and digital records. To prioritise duties to meet the changing and conflicting demands of the Trust, ensuring that paper and digital records are available, prepared and are correctly formatted. To ensure daily quality checks are performed on digital records. Manage paper records from off-site storage. To be responsible for the training of new staff. Main duties of the job Provide day to day leadership and allocate workload within the Digital Health Records team in paper and digital records, incoming referrals both paper and digital & deceased patients. Regularly reviews practices and introduces any changes necessary to improve performance and provide an effective and forward looking service.Manage the provision of skinny files for outpatient clinics. Produce daily list for outpatient clinics. Oversee the collection of skinny files and paper records from clinics/wards on a daily basis. Carry out maintenance and cleaning of high-specification document scanners. Deal with routine queries concerning all aspects of case note / digital records.
