Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Salary: Up to £75,000 (DOE)

We have an exciting opportunity to join a large multi-disciplinary UK wide consultancy out of their Southampton office, working in a thriving office and part of an established team. They are a UK leading engineering, building, infrastructure and fit-out organisation, delivering vital projects across a range of sectors.
You will be joining the Engineering team as a Senior Project Manager, with the main duty of overseeing M&E installations and working on some very prestigious and exciting projects.
What you will be doing
1. Manage all Engineering Services activities in line with the company IPCD.
2. Ensure the safe and efficient execution of the project in line with company IPCD.
3. Oversee all Engineering Services activities in line with the Project Process Document.
4. Manage the resources on the project on a day-to-day basis and report any staff issues as appropriate.
5. Manage project commercial issues and cost reporting (WIP).
6. Identify the clients' requirements and ensure we deliver these requirements to the clients' satisfaction.
7. Represent the company on any internal or external issues.
8. Prepare detailed plans and procedures to administer the project and ensure the project team is familiar with and follows these guidelines.
9. Manage all project reporting provided upstream and downstream in a timely manner.
10. Regularly audit the project to ensure compliance.
11. Communicate with the project team regularly on project-specific matters and company initiatives.
12. Oversee the project cash flow to ensure it is positive throughout the life of the project.
13. Manage the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning to achieve the best value for Engineering Services.
14. Identify all risks and manage actions and implementation to mitigate such risks.
What we will need from you
1. A multi-discipline senior project manager with experience of working on projects of £10m.
2. Track record of managing a project team to reach completion within budget and to programme.
3. Programme production and management.
4. Ability to interpret the requirements of the specification.
5. Resolve any technical queries during the contract.
6. Managing procurement, labour, and sub-contractors.
7. Leading in managing variation accounts.
8. Leading in preparing monthly applications.
9. Construction management and liaising with the supervision team.
10. Site operations - installation and commissioning.
11. Maintaining good working relationships with the client and professional team.
12. Stakeholder engagement and management.
13. Controlling contract costs and variations.
14. Value engineering projects to create cost savings.
15. Coordinating M&E Services installations.
16. All health and safety requirements during the contract including compiling method statements and risk assessments.
17. Compilation and presentation of Operating & Maintenance Manuals.
18. Contract values ranging from £5m and above.
19. Healthcare experience.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Degree: BEng (Hons) Building Services Engineering - preferable.
2. BTEC HND Building Services - preferable.
3. BTEC: HNC Building Services - essential.
4. BTEC: ONC Building Services - essential.
5. CSCS card - essential.
6. SMSTS course - essential.
7. Computer Skills - MS Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel.
