Provide administrative support to the sixth form team and members of the Senior Sixth Form Leadership Team, undertaking a range of administrative tasks associated with the sixth form. Administrative Support Responsibilities To manage the desk at the entrance to the Sixth Form Centre and deal with student, staff and other enquiries. To deal with phone queries and emails, photocopying and stationery ordering. To provide administrative planning & support to the Head of Sixth Form, including communications with students, parents, consortium partners and agencies as required. To support admissions and enrolment by inputting applications, downloading CTF files and printing timetables to ensure a fully coordinated process is operated, ensuring that staff and students are fully prepared for admission start dates. To data input, including maintenance of student records and student planned hours and updating changes to student courses on SIMS, managing team calendars and appointment. To assign students to courses and printing timetables and class registers. Support student with changing courses. Supervise the Sixth Form Learning Centre on a rotational basis. To keep up to date lists for Year 11 applications to sixth form, including chosen subjects and entering options choices onto the system. To assist in the planning and timetabling of appointments for Parents Evenings. To assist in the promotion of and attend Open Evenings and other social events when required. To manage all associated filing including overseeing, archiving and retention of 6th Form student records. To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and to report any safeguarding or child protection concerns through the school’s reporting procedures. To promote the highest standards of conduct and behaviour by implementing the school behaviour systems. To be prepared to cover registers/attendance in the learning centre in the event of staff absence. To be prepared to cover Sixth Form attendance in the event of staff absence.
