Description/Job Summary The Research & Intelligence Librarian is responsible for providing electronic operations and research support to attorneys and staff. The role, acting as the face of the UK Research & Intelligence team, will administer electronic services and relevant workflows in London, provide global research, resource support and legal training. Responsibilities/Duties Deliver research support by monitoring and responding to research requests through request management system Provide resource management and procurement of research resources Assist and participate with business reviews of resources, product trials/demos, feedback collection and roll-outs Provide and coordinate Research orientations, tailored trainings covering research sources and techniques for attorneys and staff Liaise with external vendors and/or IT to troubleshoot and resolve end user technical and/or access issues Collaborate with Research team members on projects and promotion of services Form relationships with stakeholders including attorneys and business services professionals to meet their research needs Contribute towards the building and maintenance of the electronic and print library collection Provide day-to-day supervision and support to the Subscriptions Administrator Collaborate with Research & Information Specialists, Analysts and/or Research Services Manager with special projects, as assigned. Assist, as needed, with overflow coverage for other U.S. offices, that may require flexibility to work hours outside of UK time zone Required Skills Bachelor’s degree Minimum of 2 years in legal or corporate environment. Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel. Customer-service oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to scheduling changes and shifts in priorities. Strong inter-personal skills and team working skills. Superior organizational skills, unflagging attention to detail, and demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information. Experience of delivering information services in a global organization.
