Job Title: Data Management Coordinator (12-month FTC)

Salary: Up to £34,000 depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing:
* Taking responsibility for the coherent collection, management and storage of data within the DMDT team
* Defining quality standards, developing quality data metrics for reporting, and overseeing the monitoring of data throughout the transfer process
* Holding administrative rights to JIRA software to facilitate data upload, data analysis and workflow allocation to DMDT Markers/ Controllers
* Acting as the principal point of contact for key stakeholders in regard to the scope of work and data metrics of Global Combat Systems documentation, both common and project specific
* Responsible for the collating of data and presentations that are used to provide weekly reports to both GCS programmes
* Liaising with subject matter experts on any issues which are not clearly encompassed by the current process, licenses or legal agreements
* Participating in the RSD/QDP forums to support the transfer delivery schedule
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
* Strong IT Skills, in particular with Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP's) and PowerPoint
* Ability to analyse and interpret data, to produce meaningful insights and present these to stakeholders
* Previous experience working on multiple projects at one, with the ability to differentiate and prioritise
Desirable:
* Experience of using a workflow management system e.g. JIRA software
* Proficiency in managing databases, ensuring they are properly structured, optimised, and maintained for performance
Minimum Qualifications:
Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.

The Data Management Data Transfer (DMDT) team:
As a team we review, track and mark UK Official and UK Official Sensitive approved Type 26 documentation for (electronic) export to the Hunter Class Frigate (HCF) and River Class Destroyer (RCD) programmes in line with Government Security Classification, Company Marking Standards, Export Control and Legal requirements. You will continue to develop and maintain associated strategies, processes and procedures to provide support to all key business stakeholders dealing with the Hunter Class Frigate (HCF) and Canadian River Class Destroyer (CRCD) partners as required. This is a fast-paced and collaborative environment, where knowledge sharing and continuous development are encouraged to build a multi-skilled team.
