About the Role: Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant (SEN) Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary/Permanent What You’ll Be Doing: Providing one-to-one support for a student with special educational needs. Assisting with the delivery of individualised learning plans to help the student achieve their goals. Supporting the student with both academic tasks and social development. Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and interventions tailored to the student’s needs. Managing the student’s behaviour in a positive, constructive way, creating a supportive learning environment. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience working with children with special educational needs (e.g., Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties). A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting the child. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with both teachers and parents. A commitment to helping children reach their full potential. Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in SEN or Teaching Assistant).
