We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our well-established, fully private dental practice in the heart of Gerrards Cross. The ideal candidate will be a friendly first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth patient experience and maintaining efficient office operations.
Duties
* Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
* Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments.
* Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
* Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic filing systems.
* Process patient payments and handle insurance claims efficiently.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and managing correspondence.
* Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Key Skills
* Previous experience in a dental administrative role, preferably using the Software of Excellence (SOE) system.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
* A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
