Are you a Materials Coordinator or similar from an Engineering background looking for a dynamic role where you will manage the procurement of materials for the Engineering department, as well as play a key role in the ongoing success of a leading company who offer ongoing progression?
This company is a leading provider of bespoke Engineering solutions to the rail industry, they have been operating for 20+ years and seen continual growth to the point they have over 30 members of staff. They specialise in the safety, maintenance and modification of trains for some of the largest transportation companies in the UK, and are looking for an Materials Coordinator with a strong knowledge within the engineering industry to help develop the business and improve efficiency.
In this role, you will be responsible for the management and optimisation of materials, you will need to resource the materials and obtain quotes for comparisons, then coordinate where the materials should go for each project. You will work 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday and 8:00am-1:00pm Friday as you closely with the engineering team and suppliers.
This dynamic role would suit a Materials Coordinator with a background in Engineering as well as Development or Procurement skills, looking for a leadership role within a well-established company who offer ongoing development opportunities.
