We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the Collections Cash App Clerk- National Sales position, joining our Nottingham, PA team!
* SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday approximately 40+ hours a week

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for invoicing, billing and cash application processes for National Sales. These duties will include processing invoices, re-billing, collections and cash application of National Sales Customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Collection and Cash Application:
* Monitor, modify and update load sheets for National Sales orders.
* Match sales orders to bills of lading to ensure invoicing is accurate and complete.
* Ensure accurate and timely invoicing by cross-referencing purchase orders, receiving documents and various spreadsheets.
* Perform daily deposits pertaining to assigned accounts.
* Create invoices and statements in a timely manner.
* Timely application of payments to appropriate accounts.
* Make adjustments for shortages/deductions and work with the National Sales team to determine next steps for shorted payments.
* Adjust accounts based on complaints concerning billing or services rendered.
* Maintain collection notes on past due accounts and communicate problem accounts to the Accounts Receivable Manager and relevant sales associates.
* Retrieve and maintain proof of delivery documents.
* Review claims to see what needs to be filed for insurance with shipping companies.

* Provides back-up support for other positions within the department.
Qualifications:
* Associates degree preferred.
* 2 years related experience and/or training in Collection/Cash Application preferred but not required.
* MS Office Suite experience required, beginner skill level required.
* Demonstrated experience with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently or as a team with a result-driven approach.
* Exemplary customer service skills and communication.
* Excellent interpersonal relationship-building skills.
* Proactive in problem-solving and works towards creative solutions.
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal/external customers.
* Requires strong problem-solving ability and strong analytic skills.
