Project Manager – Event Crowd Management, Stadia Co-Ordinator – Portsmouth, Hampshire
What will the successful candidate be offered?
· £38,000-£43,000pa (£30,000.00 (£14.42ph) based on 5 days per week at 8 hours per day (09:00-17:00), plus all operational hours paid additionally. Details follow below.
· Additional pay for operational hours worked on any project at the prevailing hourly rate, typically ranging from £8,000 - £13,000 annually, depending on deployment preferences and demand.
· Guaranteed annual pay increase of at least 1.5%, often exceeded.
· CPD budget of 5% of annual salary.

Location: On-site at Portsmouth Office and various UK event sites.
Hours of work: Minimum 40 hours/week, plus operational deployment.
The role
The role has a seasonal focus, shifting between two main streams:
1. During the UK football season, coordinating teams for stadia security and stewarding services.
2. Planning and executing crowd management and security projects across the UK during the summer season.
You will work closely with directors and senior managers, managing bookings, quality, administration, and leadership of teams, some numbering into the hundreds. Supported by supervisors, you will coordinate transport, record-keeping, and reporting.
Responsibilities include creating security plans, leading specific event portfolios, attending stakeholder meetings, and managing operational teams during events. Travel across the UK will be required.
Focus will be on stadia operations and crowd safety management.
Candidate requirements
* Valid SIA Door Supervision Licence.
* Over 24 months experience as a Junior or Senior Manager in security/crowd management.
* Passion for the industry and career-oriented mindset.
* Full UK driving licence.
